Another fun project for the horror book club CLF, a mascot that needed to be relatively easy to put together, flexible, expressive and with a right "aura" for the book club.

After discussion with the book club representative, I suggested a simple solution of a skull with various bodies of bookish and refined characters. The first sketch of combinations included some more outlandish bodies, but the book club really took on the "byronic", mysterious man.

"The literature professor of doom" has been launched and the club is in process of picking a suitable name for their new friend. It'll be interesting to see how the mascot's personality develops.
